Practical information
THE ARDECHE RIVER
River classified from Class 1 to Class 3 (depending on the water levels), with no great technical difficulties and around twenty rapids which contribute to the attraction of the descent. |
REQUIRED CONDITIONS
- To be at least 7 years old and accompanied by a responsible adult.
- To be capable of swimming at least 25 metres and to be able to put one's head under water completely.
- To be physically fit and not to be afraid of water

EQUIPMENT
A unique array in Ardèche with 600 state-of-the-art boats (Double and treble-place Canoes, monoplace Kayaks) in polyethylene provided with fittings and equipment (the K1 models are reserved for the more experienced).

ACCOMMODATION
OUR CAMP, 'LE GROS CHENE' for youth camps (maximum of 80 people) is located on the left bank of the Ardèche River, at the foot of the Pont d'Arc. Accommodation is under big, shared, canvas tents or you can rent an individual berth. You can enjoy half board or full board in conjunction with our Restaurant de la Base, (equipment in situ: a chalet with a covered terrace, sanitary block, barbecue). |

RESTAURATION
OUR RESTAURANT 'L'AUBERGE DU PONT D'ARC', located in the ancient meander of the Ardèche River, facing the listed site of the Pont d'Arc, close to the Grotte CHAUVET, which was only discovered recently. The restaurant offers local specialties, grills, snacks, ice creams all of this in a unique setting, backed by vineyards and green oaks. Inside, it can accommodate 100 guests and a further 150 to 200 people can be made welcome on our terraces and shaded under our tonnelles, which are always very popular between June and September.
