Duration of the descent

  • 7h00 / 8h00 of paddling depending on the water level and your experience, spread over 2 days, with bivouac (not included in the rate).
    For the descents in 2 days, you will have to book your places on the bivouac, see at the bottom of this page.

Highlights of the descent

  • Passage of the famous canoe slides, the rapid of Le Charlemagne, the Pont d’Arc, the nature reserve of the Gorges de l’Ardèche, the Cathédrale rock, the Cirque de la Madeleine, numerous rapids.

The return

Return times After your descent, a bus will bring you back to the starting point.
Departure bus from Sauze : between 3.30pm and 5pm (depending on the season, more information before you start).

  • Return times are indicative and depend on the arrival of our customers, traffic on the road and any unforeseen situations. On busy days, extra waiting time should be expected.

Our barrels are watertight, nevertheless, we can not garantee the watertightness because this depends on how the barrel is closed by its user.
