Duration of the descent

  • 1h00 / 1h30 of paddling depending on the water level and your experience.
    You can keep the canoe up til 4 hours to make stops to swim, pick nick, visit… You choose your return time before starting.

  • From Vallon Pont d’Arc to Châmes (7 km) and from Châmes to Sauze (24 km)

Highlights of the descent

  • Passage of Le Charlemagne, the Pont d’Arc, the nature reserve of the Gorges de l’Ardèche, the Cathédrale rock, the Cirque de la Madeleine, numerous rapids.
