Set off on a 31km canoe/kayak adventure on the Ardèche River, combining discovery and thrills. This comprehensive route begins with a 7km section, passing under the majestic Pont d’Arc, then continues through the Ardèche Gorges nature reserve for 24km of unspoiled wilderness. Rapids (including the famous Charlemagne), spectacular cliffs, picnic breaks, and swimming punctuate this adventure, accessible to motivated beginners.
Duration of the descent
- 5h30 / 6h30 of paddling depending on the water level and your experience. The earlier you start, the more time you will have to make stops, pick nick, swim, discover…

- From Vallon Pont d’Arc to Sauze.

- Passage of Le Charlemagne, the Pont d’Arc, the nature reserve of the Gorges de l’Ardèche, the Cathédrale rock, the Cirque de la Madeleine, numerous rapids.

The return
| Return times | After your descent, a shuttle will take you back to the starting point. Arrival in Sauze: between 3.30pm and 5pm (depending on the season, more details will be available on site before your departure). |
